Hydraulic, pneumatic, and other seals

Daemar will combine its own sales and service expertise with Trelleborg’s high-quality products to provide superior sealing solutions to customers in these areas. The partnership will create enhanced supply-chain communication and better product access to reduce lead times to customers, with support from technical and training resources from Trelleborg.

These seals and more suit applications in food processing, healthcare, oil and gas, and the medical sector. The four categories of Trelleborg products available from Daemar:

• Hydraulic seals. For preventing fluid leaks in cylinders in hydraulic applications. These units also withstand high pressure, extreme temperatures, and transverse forces within the cylinders. Trelleborg manufactures hydraulic piston seals, hydraulic rod seals, hydraulic scrapers and wipers, and hydraulic wear rings.
• Pneumatic seals. These seals are necessary for pneumatic applications, in which air actuates cylinders and valves. They also operate in dynamic applications, often at high speeds and typically with rotary or reciprocating motion. Various seals, wear rings, and scrapers/wipers designed specifically for these applications.
• Rotary and shaft seals. These seals are used in components with oscillating or rotating parts, to keep lubrication liquids in and stop ingress of water and mud. The Trelleborg portfolio includes a broad range of these units, including best-in-class proprietary lip seals, Turcon Varilip PDR seals, and high-quality radial oil seals. These solutions boost component lifespans and overall performance.
• Surface finishing. Surface finishes enhance the performance of elastomer seals substantially. So Trelleborg commits ample resources to developing effective surface finishes for various tasks. Examples include Flexcoat, for optimum friction characteristics, and Flexclean, in which seals are delivered to specific standards of cleanliness.
