Sorting process by hand

This variety of customer services includes several solutions beyond product offerings. The following options are available from Daemar:

• Custom kitting – design and assembly of kits for customer-specific requirements by Daemar’s packaging and branding department, as a value-added benefit. These personnel brand and mark kits with labels such as customer logos, part numbers, and bar codes, while packaging them for convenient portability and easier access. Custom kitting can serve in-the-field maintenance, manufacturing production lines, aftermarket maintenance and repair, and other unique customer needs.
• Custom manufacturing – fast specialty manufacturing solutions for customers, offered by Daemar digital manufacturing teams. Rapid prototyping and batch production of seals, for example, are available with in-house computer-assisted design systems and tooling equipment.
• Packaging and branding – DMR-branded packaging for many Daemar products by the supplier’s packaging program. The examples include O-ring packs, boxed oil seals, boxed shim rolls, and slotted shim replacement packs. The Daemar team can also offer custom-designed specific packaging programs.
• Product sorting – recommended most for applications in which product contamination is not feasible in any way. Some component manufacturers use packaging and production methods that result in unwanted scrap included with the usable products. The Daemar sorting technique consists of 100 per cent hand sorting, to remove every single contaminating part, as there are some customer manufacturing and assembly processes that will not accept nonconforming products.
• Quick-Turn inventory management – The Daemar crew collaborates closely with customers to deliver supply-chain solutions that meet their specific needs.
