When a customer orders Crown angel cake pans, for example, they receive a seamless one-piece design made for long life and excellent problem-free performance. The pans feature a radius corner for easy cake release and proper angel cake form. 

”How we make our pans is important to us,” says David Vella, the company's president. ”When I was a child, I saw the disappointment that a poor product brought to my mother, and the joy and fun of good products that led to her baking accomplishments when she baked for us as kids. It is our goal to be a part of those happy memories. This same logic and pride goes into everything we make — from cake pans to custom lighting reflectors.”

The company’s round cake pans are versatile, designed for baking any variety of layer cakes and wedding cakes. The pans are available in two- or three-inch depths in a variety of diameters, and are made from hard food-grade aluminum, which offers resistance to denting. Heavy-weight round layer cake pans are available with a rigidity of 16 gauge hard aluminum as stock, and heavier products are available on a made-to-order basis with minimum orders of $800. In addition, the company can make custom sizes with special heights and diameters to conform to the customer's recipe and target cake cost.

Layer cake pans, pannetone cake pans, square cake pans and cheese cake pans are also available, in addition to stainless steel cake rings, cookie sheets, pie plates and pudding pans. The company is also ”Canada's source” for off-the-shelf and custom-made pizza trays and pans. 

”We have the know-how and capabilities to make the pans you need to make your pizzas great,” Vella adds. ”Crown is home to Canada’s 'Pizza Pan Man', who will put his 34 years of making pans into your product.”  

The company carries an inventory of more than 500,000 pounds of aluminum circles that it uses for its own products, as well as supplies to other metal spinning and stamping companies.
