Canadian Portable Structures designs, manufactures and installs permanent, portable and modular structures in a wide range of sizes. Parking attendant kiosks, among its smaller-sized offerings, are solid, built to last, and available with a large variety of options, because the Burlington, Ont.-based company knows that its customers have needs that are not “one size fits all”.

The kiosks can be manufactured as small as three feet by three feet, or as large as five feet by eight feet. Features and options include:

Wall framing: Made with .080 thick aluminum extrusion with natural clear anodized aluminum exterior surfaces, the framing is eight feet, 10 inches tall.

Kick panels: The exterior finish is a flat steel, baked enamel, while the interior finish can be almond or grey melamine.

Door: The standard size for the outswinging, commercial store front style door is 32 feet by 80 feet. It features a clear anodized aluminum frame, deadbolt lock and safety chain.

Windows: The fixed windows are glazed with insulglass for window insulation, with four millimetres of inner and outer glass. The glass is held in place by snap-in vinyl stops for easy installation and replacement. Glazing, tinting and safety glass options are available.

Roof: The exterior roof is made of E.P.D.M., a durable, synthetic rubber, single-ply roofing membrane that adheres to wood sheathing. It comes with 5-½ inches of prefinished steel fascia in a range of colours, R12 fibreglass batt insulation and a vapour barrier.

Counter: The kiosk comes with one utility melamine counter in a grey finish. Sliding and cash drawers are an added option.

Ceiling: The kiosk features a suspended ceiling with two-feet by four-feet fibreglass lay-in tiles.

Floor: The flooring consists of multiple layers — a ⅛-inch piece of non-slip sheet vinyl flooring; a ¼-inch Luan plywood underlay; and a ⅝-inch sub-floor.

Electrical package: The standard package includes a 100-amp circuit breaker panel, fluorescent light, fan-driven heater and two receptacles. However, this package can be changed to suit specific requirements.
