A wide range of services

Ever since the company was founded in 1989, Matritech has continued to invest in its fixed assets. Its property includes a versatile range of innovative machinery, which allows its personnel to offer a wide range of services with their machining talents, including laser cutting, robotic welding, CNC machining, tools and dies, stamping and pressing, and bending.

As recently as 2015, Matritech purchased a horizontal machining centre with two pallet changers, which enables the company to provide high-speed part production. Matritech’s Drummondville, Que. facility also contains a Mazak Vertical Travelling Column 300C, a vertical machining centre with a powerful 40 Taper spindle, a full travelling column, and a long fixed table for long and heavy workpieces. Acquired five years ago, the 300C reduces non-cut time with quick traverse rates. With two CNC bending presses with bending angle optic sensors, three welding robots, and laser equipment, the Matritech crew has access to all the equipment it needs to exploit its machining talents.

Continuous investment has also enabled Matritech to expand its facility. Thirty years ago, the plant covered 3,200 square feet; since its 2011 expansion, the facility measures 85,000 square feet. In this large space, the company can house ample resources for machining design and assembly. Being a one-stop shop for all machining services simplifies projects for customers – and also simplifies the processes of buying, receiving, and transportation.

This long-term investment in equipment and space continues to pay off for Matritech today. The company’s plant remains the most versatile and comprehensive in the industry, as Matritech pushes itself to stay ahead of its competitors and benefit customer all across the country.
