The Des-Case Condition Monitoring Center

A wide range of Des-Case products are available from Wainbee Filtration, including the unique Condition Monitoring Center (CMC). Using innovative technology to allow sampling on low-pressure hydraulic and lubrication systems in which aeration can cause problems, this device suppresses air bubbles so that they no longer count as particles. The CMC also enables constant particle monitoring on systems in which there is no evidence of oil pressure. Users can install it in most low-pressure hydraulic and lubrication systems.

Offering the required versatility

The CMC is configured specially to give users the versatility they need for existing systems or ones in development. Users can directly wire the built-in motor/pump assembly and automatic particle counter, which enables control through a broad variety of communication protocols and logic controllers. With its small footprint, this Des-Case product is perfect for installation on new or retrofit applications. As the most advanced diagnostic centre for hydraulic and lubrication liquids, the CMC provides reliable feedback on levels of solid-particle contamination, water, oil degradation, and temperature.

A versatile unit, the CMC is recommended for entrained air, turbulent flows, higher-viscosity fluids, and un-pressurized systems. This device from Wainbee is recommended for such sectors as renewable energy, gearboxes, the automotive industry, pulp and paper, offshore systems, lubrication systems, marine thrusters, and test benches. Among its many advantages: reliable and accurate performance; proactive maintenance; certification for test benches; easy retrofit; exceptional communication; high memory; and alarms for contamination levels, water, and temperature.

The options available range from zero-bar pressure to a maximum of 50 bar on the system inlet and ½ bar on the system return; users can install another option on systems with a maximum of ½ bar on the inlet of the CMC pump and of six bar on the system return. These options boost the versatility of the CMC, enabling installation in various system applications.

Des-Case can design this unit with an integrated magnetic coupling, which can handle inlet and outlet pressures of 25 bar. The standard CMC comes with an optional CMS, complete with RS485/232 Modbus and CANbus protocols for remote control.
