Vibra Finish uses and sells 13 types of finishing compounds with various benefits.

For expert finishing of industrial metal parts, Vibra Finish is the company to trust. This company has mastered every part of the finishing process, from cleaning and polishing to smoothing and deburring. Vibra Finish also uses and sells highly useful materials to aid in the finishing process – including a variety of finishing compounds and media.

In the process, finishing compounds are thrown together into a system with water and media, and the sliding or tumbling action of the machine causes the compounds to clean, polish and smooth surfaces.

Wet and dry formats

Compounds come in either wet or dry formats. While wet compounds usually come in a paste form or are used with water in wet finishing processes, dry compounds usually come in a powder form for dry processes.

Compounds are also formulated with properties specifically tailored for use in either tumbling barrels or vibratory systems. Vibratory compounds are designed for finishing in vibratory machines, which are typically used for thorough cleaning and deburring of delicate parts, or parts that have bores or other recesses that are difficult to reach; they are also effective with large surfaces.

When the user adds a vibratory compound and selected media to a vibratory machine containing parts for mass finishing, the rubbing action of the machine has an abrasive effect on the parts that cleans them. Finishing compounds have suspension properties that prevent the debris that arises from depositing back on the parts, which keeps the abrasive action constant.

Vibra Finish carries 13 types of Vibra Glo compounds for various applications. These include five types of rust inhibitors, two all-purpose cleaners, two alkaline cleaners, two mild acidic burnishers, and one type each of powdered concentrate and washing compound. The range of compound types available illustrates how they benefit the finishing process in many different ways.

With Vibra Finish compounds, manufacturing companies can always count on a superior finishing job.
