In recreational vehicles, basic needs, such as plumbing for toilets or showers, electricity for lighting and stovetops, and storage space are met differently than in a standard home. Sugatsune hardware solutions offer practicality to meet some of these needs for your convenience.

PKL Series: Push Knob Latch

The PKL-07/WHT and PKL-08 series of push knobs, combined with the latch body available separately in white or black finish, is an ideal solution for RV cabinet doors, which would not require handles to open. The PKL-07/WHT push-knob latch is available in white finish. The PKL-08 series is available in gold, chrome, and black nickel finishes. Both push-knob latch types have holding force of 10 kg (22 lbs.). The knob stays flush when pushed in and not in use; its latch securely locks the door with deadbolt. To open the door, simply press the knob to pop out and grab to pull open. For door thickness of 15-30 mm (9/16″~1-3/16″), with two mm spacer available for 13 mm (½”) door thickness, these push-knob latches may be used for small-to-medium-sized doors.

LIN-X Series: Lateral Door Opening Systems

For maximum clearance at the front of furniture units, opt for Sugatsune’s lateral door-opening systems, which eliminate the footprint that is normally taken up by standard swinging doors. The LIN-X450 starts the collection with recommended door width of 15 ¾”-19-11/16″. The standard kit is meant for door height of 23-5/8″-35-7/16″ and weight of up to 15.4 lbs. With additional hinge arms and longer connecting bar, the LIN-X450 may be used for door height of up to 94½” and weight of up to 37.4 lbs. For small-to-medium-sized doors, the LIN-X600 is also available. For the standard kit, the recommended door width is 21-5/8″-25-9/16″ with weight of up to 19.8 lbs. With additional hinge arms and longer connecting bar, the LIN-X600 may be used for door height of up to 94½” and weight of up to 52.8 lbs.

Aileron: Lift-assist Lid Stay with soft close

The Aileron is a multi-functional lid stay for top or for upward opening doors or lids.

The ARN-2 series of lid stays is meant for top-opening or toy-box applications, such as upholstered benches with underneath storage. The ARN-3 series of lid stays is meant for upward-opening doors, such as kitchen cabinetry or higher storage compartments. Safety is ensured with a lift-assist feature to eliminate strain, free stop that holds the lid in positions of 30 degrees and more, and adjustable soft closing. The lid-stay system consists of Olympia concealed hinges, lid-stay arm, and mounting plates. With minimum required hardware components, less is more with the beautiful functionality of the Aileron.
