It’s true — Coca-Cola is one of the world’s best-known brands, and it uses Lapp cables in its European bottling plants.

But with great success comes great responsibility. Coca-Cola’s bottling operation, therefore, observes the strictest hygiene and quality standards. This is why the company’s 40 or so bottling plants in Scandinavia, the U.K., France, the Benelux countries and Germany use ÖLFLEX Robust power and control cables.

“Coca Cola requires very high standards of hygiene at all its plants,” says Darren Clark of Lapp UK. “Regular cleaning and maintenance procedures put enormous strains on components, and so the company was eager to finally find a totally durable and reliable cable.”

Lapp’s ÖLFLEX Robust cable fitted the bill perfectly, with its high levels of mechanical and chemical resistance. It is suitable for a wide variety of applications, in such diverse areas as machine tools, medical technology, laundries, car washes, sewage treatment plants and, of course, the food and beverage industry. Essentially, it is suited to any environment where cables are exposed to oils, fats, waxes or detergents. This weatherproof cable is also halogen-free, with a high dielectric strength and low operating capacitance.
