push-in fittings

Wainbee supplies push-in fittings by Parker.

Wainbee Limited supplies a healthy variety of devices for industrial wash-down applications. This includes a line of push-in fittings manufactured by Clippard and Parker. Made from high-grade 316 stainless steel, these are durable fittings that make it easy to connect pneumatic components to system piping and each other with a simple push-pull method. These fittings are designed to give robustness, reliability, and resistance to fluids in challenging applications.

Many sizes and styles available

Clippard Instrument Laboratory produces the unique Push-Quick brand of fittings, which is available in many sizes and styles. These fittings enable full flow through hose or tubing inner diameters, and they require no smaller orifice, as barb fittings do. They are built for use with flexible hose and stiff tubing made of nylon, polyurethane, polyethylene, or polypropylene.

Perfect for high-temperature applications, Push-Quick fittings are particularly recommended for use in the packaging and food-processing environments, as they offer high resistance to corrosion and chemicals. They work for air, inert gas, water, liquid, and oil, and they have a small, compact design. Among the specifications: pressure range of zero to 250 psig at 24 degrees Celsius; vacuum of zero to 29½ inches Hg; tube pull-out force of 1/8 to 5/32 of an inch at more than ten pounds, or ¼ to ½ an inch at more than 20 pounds, all at 75 degrees (non-pressurized); and temperature range from -15 to 110 degrees Celsius.

Parker push-in fittings are also available from Wainbee’s inventory. The LF 3900 and 3800 series are suitable for a broad range of applications, including aerospace, climate control, electromechanical tasks, filtration, liquid and gas handling, hydraulics, pneumatics, process control, and sealing and shielding. This makes them suitable in food processing, the medical field, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, petrochemicals, and pulp and paper.

The manufacturer recommends LF 3900 and 3800 push-in fittings for permanent contact with food products, in saline environments, for external applications, for industrial cleaning with detergent, and when users need to sterilize components frequently. Nineteen product body shapes are available, four to 12 millimetres in diameter, with taper or parallel threads.
