This line of cordless assembly tools brings programmability to every line.

Safety, accuracy, and repeatability

Each CellClutch tool offers the ability to signal the operator if a batch is complete or send an alert regarding any cross threads or re-hits within a fastener batch. Its programmable rundown strategies help to avoid costly mistakes, ensuring higher accuracy and quality in every task. A key feature is the Cleco Clutch, a mechanically adjustable clutch that offers a positive shutoff that controls torque output; this results in safety, accuracy, and repeatability with an initial process capability higher than 1.67 (at a tolerance of plus or minus ten per cent, as per the ISO 5393 standard).

The single battery platform works across entire cordless ranges to lower complexity and expenses in manufacturing facilities, while the programmable rundowns with standard batch counting make applications simpler, with up to seven programmable stages through a USB interface. Standard features include batch count, angle or duration parameters, and speed adjustment. Other major benefits of these tools:

• Multi-colour LED. Users can see their workpieces more clearly with the built-in work light and the secondary “OK/not OK” operator feedback.
• Operator status light. This is a colour indicator light that allows operators to see the batch count status clearly and easily.
• Low-battery warning. The tool prevents under-torqued fasteners with its low-battery shutoff.

Both right-angle and pistol designs of CellClutch cordless assembly tools are available from Dobco. The right-angle design comes in five models, with maximum speeds from 190 to 915 revolutions per minute (RPM) and maximum torque from eight to 41 newton metres (Nm). The pistol models range from 700 to 1770 RPM in maximum speed and four to 12 Nm in maximum torque.
