angle nutrunners

Cleco angle nutrunners from Dobco can be equipped with a broad variety of drive options.

Cleco is a major manufacturer of pneumatic assembly tools for the industrial market, and its products are available in Canada from Dobco Equipment. Among these products is a line of potent angle nutrunners, most of which can be equipped with a broad variety of drive options – enabling adjustment to suit specific applications more effectively.

Cleco produces several varieties of angle nutrunners, including the 75 series. This particular version includes a lever start and is available in reversible and non-reversible options.

Two sizes of square drives

The Cleco 75 series of angle nutrunners has a torque range of 75 to 430 nanometres. This device’s features include external torque adjustment, a rotating exhaust deflector, and two sizes of square drives: ½ an inch and ¾ of an inch.

The 75 series includes both stall and clutch nutrunners. The former is recommended for applications with changing torque rates, as they have stall-type torque control, which gives users more control over speed and power output. In this configuration, the tools run until resistance in the fasteners cause them to stall; then the user releases the throttle and removes the tool. With reversible Clecomatic clutch nutrunners, operators can control torque accurately without losing speed: the user enters the desired torque level, and the clutch shuts off automatically upon reaching that torque.

Both stall and clutch 75-series tools have planetary gears designed for speed changes with minimal part service and replacement, as well as heavy-duty spindle bearings and splined retractable spindles that reduce friction, improve torque repeatability, and prolong life; both also operate with a heavy-duty Cleco motor, which is the industry standard for reliability. The stall nutrunners have been engineered for top performance, durability, mounting versatility, and serviceability. The Durable Clecomatic Clutch has superior torque repeatability and a long calibration cycle.

Dobco carries 14 different designs of the Cleco 75 series of nutrunners. Free speed ranges from 80 to 480 revolutions per minute; length goes from 486 to 575 millimetres; weight runs from 3.3 to 6.8 kilograms; and each has an air consumption of 55 or 70 SCFM.
