Rigid mounting to floor
The Classic II series offers a rugged cast aluminum housing that adds an IP56 degree of protection, as well as the second generation of the Classic pedal family. Standard Classic II models are available from Linemaster with guarded and unguarded options. Each guarded switch has a heavy gauge steel full guard that covers the entire switch for added foot protection and prevents faulty actuation.
Other Classic II features include cast aluminum body and treadle (with steel base plate and nonskid base pad), single ¾-inch, 14 NPT threaded conduit entry, single-stage momentary contact, two hoses for rigid mounting to floor equipment, and NEMA Type 1, 2, 4, and 13 environment protection. This switch’s versatility makes it perfect for many applications. The guarded single model weighs 2¾ pounds and measures 5.19 by 5.9 by 7.27 inches; the unguarded version weighs 1½ pounds and measures 2¼ by 3½ by 6.2 inches.
The Classic IV series is available in single and twin models, guarded or unguarded, and suits applications from the medical sector to medium-duty industrial tasks. Its rugged cast aluminum housing offers waterproof IP68 protection, and its environmental protection adds NEMA 6 and 6P onto the Classic II design. Among the other features: one-piece cast aluminum housing; single-stage momentary contact; and non-skid feet to minimize movement. Linemaster offers custom variations built according to specifications.
The Classic IV model is available in a Wired Linear version, which offers the option of up to two extra auxiliary button switches; this suits many applications. The Hall Effect sensors ensure top dependability, no mechanical interface, smooth linearity, and no dead spots.
