With no moving parts

The Chip Vac is the perfect choice for cleaning chips fixtures, floors and work surfaces in machining centres, lathes, saws, and other industrial equipment. It can pick up dry and wet chips and deliver them directly into the drum. It is also built for occasional use with dusty materials, with a filter bag included to keep surrounding air clean.

Because electrically operated all-purpose vacuums are not designed for industrial environments, their motors tend to wear out after a short time and their impellers get clogged. EXAIR solves this issue by constructing these chip vacuums with no moving parts to break or wear out, increasing the operational life of each device. In addition, users no longer have to undergo constant heavy lifting and dumping of vacuum-cleaner tanks, as Chip Vac sucks chips right into the drum, and its sound level is half of that of electric vacuums.

Each Chip Vac system also comes with a drum lid with a locking ring that fits into an open-top drum. Users can easily remove these chip vacuums and place them onto other drums in less than a minute, to keep different materials separate for recycling.

EXAIR manufactures different models of the Chip Vac, in five-, 30-, 55-, and 110-gallon sizes. The Mini Chip Vac System offers the same cleaning power for smaller applications, and it comes complete with a five-gallon drum and all the required tools. Drums are not included with the other Chip Vacs, except with premium versions.
