Chatillon crane scales offer high capacity and accuracy

The Chatillon CTR Series is a weighing crane system that features a rugged, cast aluminum weighing sensor and wireless remote indicator. Available from Digital Measurement Metrology (DMM), the system offers precise, high capacity weighing, and comes complete with many attractive features. 

Best-in-class features

The CTR Series is Chatillon’s solution for high capacity weighing. The system is available in three capacities, from 3,000 to 10,000 kilograms (6,600 to 22,000 pounds). One of its most attractive features is its bright, backlit LCD remote display, which allows users to monitor weighing operations up to 30 metres (100 feet) away from the target. And, thanks to the device’s wireless controller, users can remotely change units, clear measurements, zero and tare out weight. Measurements can be displayed in kilograms or pounds.

The sensor offers accuracy better than 0.2 per cent of full scale, as well as a safe overload that is 150 per cent of the rated capacity. It can operate in temperatures ranging from zero to 40 degrees C (-4 to 104 degrees F). 

The system comes with a hanging loop, S-hook, rechargeable battery, and a remote indicator/controller with a U.S., EU and U.K. plug adapter. It is RoHS and WEEE compliant, and comes with a Certificate of Conformance and a one-year warranty. 

Calibration information

An accredited ISO 17025 Certificate of Calibration is available upon request. DMM, a Brampton, Ont.-based precision measuring equipment specialist, has the capability to calibrate test and measuring equipment to the ISO 17025 standard, thanks to its in-house laboratory and expert technicians.
