MOCAP offers caps, plugs, grips, tapes, tubing and netting to satisfy the product protection, masking and finishing needs of its growing list of customers. Available in a range of colours, diameters, lengths, textures and more, these products can be customized to meet the exact requirements of the application.

Protective products

MOCAP offers a wide range of caps, grips, plugs and more designed to seal or protect products against thread damage, scratches, dirt or other contaminants during assembly and shipping. From injection moulded low-density polyethylene plastic caps and plugs to vinyl dip moulded caps, plugs, grips, sleeves and corner covers, MOCAP’s offering can satisfy all of a company’s product protection needs, regardless of the length, wall thickness, material, colour, texture and hardness required. If the standard caps, plugs and grips don't meet the customer’s needs, MOCAP’s engineering department can design a customized part for the application.

Masking products

MOCAP manufactures a wide variety of masking products in many materials, shapes and sizes to seal areas or components against painting, coating, spraying or plating. The selection includes single-use, high-temperature vinyl caps and plugs designed to resist temperatures up to 246 degrees C (475 degrees F). EPDM rubber caps and plugs, which can resist temperatures up to 246 degrees C (475 degrees F), are also available, in addition to a variety of silicone rubber caps and plugs designed to perform in temperatures exceeding 316 degrees C (600 degrees F). Both EPDM and silicone products are reusable in most processes.

Finishing products

MOCAP offers a wide variety of caps and plugs to finish, decorate or complete the assembly of a product. The selection includes:

• Plastic caps in round, square and hex shapes to provide a quality, finished appearance;
• Plastic grips in round and flat rectangular sizes to fit handles, levers, tools, rods and stems;
• Plastic sheet metal plugs in a flush standard, flush metric or recessed design to fit imperial/standard and metric size holes; and
• Tubing end plugs available in sizes to fit standard and metric sizes of round, square and rectangular tubes.
