A key advantage of these locks is that that are extremely hygienic: they are easy to clean, and they are sealed so securely that there is no chance for moisture to get inside them. This way, bacteria cannot grow inside the locks.

Flat face for easy disinfection

The typical industrial lock has a keyhole or other opening that allows moisture inside and bacteria to build up as a result, which makes it impossible to clean. But each unit in this magnetic lock series has a flat face that the user can spray, clean, and disinfect with little effort. This is just one notable advantage of these locks, which are available at a lower cost than those of other high-security locks.

In addition to the watertight construction, this series of discreet magnetic cam locks has more than 1,500 magnetic combinations. The locks cannot be copied, picked, or bumped, which makes them especially secure, and they resist many contaminants, including glue and dirt. Users can retrofit them from any standard cam lock. They work for numerous applications in homes, offices, institutions, and industrial facilities.

These magnetic cam locks can be keyed alike or different, and inset or offset cams are available. Each comes with two keys and a standard nickel finish, while other finishing types are available upon request. Users can specify a specific cam rotation. Four sizes are available – 1-3/8, 1-1/8, 7/8, or 5/8 of an inch – as is a special magnetic key and a keying kit containing 20 keys. There are three barrel lengths for this series (5/8, 7/8, and 1-1/8 inches), while the numerous cam lengths range from ¾ to 2-3/8 inches, and cam inset/offset runs from -½ to ½ an inch.
