More than 70 screw machines

In terms of capacity, the company owns a total of 64,000-square-feet of manufacturing floor space that houses more than 70 first-operation automatic screw machines, more than 20 CNC machines, plus a full secondary-operations department. L. & M. is constantly upgrading its equipment and improving its processes, in order to keep producing quality custom machined products on time, for its expanding customer base.

The company also has a comprehensive quality-assurance program, which incorporates popular lean manufacturing process tools like Just-In-Time (JIT) and Kanban. With automated and manual processes, this team calibrates gauges and scales on a regular basis to make sure products are correctly sampled for quality purposes. L. & M. meets all specifications with regular sampling before and after product runs, with a blend of human and equipment calibration.
