Mod-Tronic Instruments Ltd. offers a wide range of measurement and power-system monitoring instrumentation by Camille Bauer, which has excelled in this field for more than three-quarters of a century. Among the Camille Bauer solutions available in Canada through Mod-Tronic are signal isolators and conditioners, plus splitters, amplifiers, loop power packs, and transmitters. The diversity of this lineup illustrates the manufacturer’s edge in innovative solutions with optimum energy management.
Reliability and minimal energy consumption
Businesses worldwide trust the Camille Bauer SINEAX brand of signal isolators and conditioners for reliability and minimal energy consumption. Mod-Tronic offers four SINEAX signal isolators:
- TI 816 – loop-powered, 500-volt passive device at a low cost. Measuring 12½ millimetres wide, this signal isolator has a maximum burden of 600 ohms for current and 500 ohms for voltage. The TI 816 can be ordered with volt or mA output.
- DCM 817 – a compact, cost-effective solution for original-equipment manufacturers. Circuit-board-mounted, loop-powered passive device with a 600-ohm maximum burden and 500 volts of power.
- SI 815 – signal isolators and conditioners that transfer power to input loops at 2,300 volts. Output loop-powered (12-30 volts). Available in single- and multi-channel versions with optional FSK/Hart protocol.
- TI 807 – loop-powered, 4,000-volt passive device available in one-, two-, or three-channel versions. Maximum burden of 1,000 ohms.
SINEAX TV 808 signal splitters and amplifiers provide 3.7 kilovolts of I/O-to-power-supply isolation and 2.3 kilovolts of input-to-output isolation, plus zero and span adjustment for every channel. Dual-channel and signal-splitter versions are available. SINEAX B 812 loop power packs offer 3.6 kilovolts of input, output, and power isolation. Designed for HART protocol, these units have red LED for open and short-circuit fault detection.
In addition to signal isolators, splitters, and amplifiers, Mod-Tronic carries two SINEAX signal transmitters: the TV 809 programmable process transmitter and the TV 819 low-cost process transmitter. These fully isolated units have removable plugs, unipolar or bipolar input/output, and a supply voltage of 24-60 or 85-230 VAC/VDC. The TV 809 is PC-programmable and has Custom 57-point input linearization, while the TV 819 is factory-configured.
