Camille Bauer manufactures four programmable universal transmitters

Mod-Tronic Instruments Ltd. supplies a variety of products by Camille Bauer Metrawatt AG, including four SINEAX models of programmable universal transmitters – among the impressive lineup of temperature transmitters available. These four devices are innovative multi-functional units, all highly recommended for direct currents, direct voltages, temperature sensors, teletransmitters, or potentiometers.

Users can adapt all settings of these multi-functional transmitters to specific measuring tasks with PC software, which also serves visualizing, commissioning, and service.

For top-hat rail assembly

These programmable universal transmitters from Mod-Tronic are designed for top-hat rail assembly, with their own individual characteristics. The SINEAX VA604s programmable multi-functional transmitter is recommended for its very quick setting times. Among its features: fast measurement of DC voltage, DC current, temperature, and resistance; setting time of up to ten milliseconds; sensor connection with no external jumpers; two inputs, for sensor redundancy or difference formation; two outputs, communication through Modbus interface; freely programmable relay, for limit or alarm signalling; AC/DC wide-range power supply; and pluggable, high-quality screw or spring cage terminals.

The SINEAX VB604s unit has programmable, remote I/O functionality. It offers a readout of all input variables and internally calculated values through Modbus, and users may control the outputs and relay via Modbus too. Operators can choose whether the output variables depend on the input variables or the outputs are controlled independently of the inputs through Modbus. This device has many of the same features as the VA604s.

Next comes the SINEAX VC604s. This series of programmable universal transmitters consists of safety value converters, each of which has one output, U or I. Two inputs can be linked with each other and allocated to the two outputs, which allows calculation and sensor monitoring, such as prognostic maintenance of sensors. This unit also offers two freely programmable relays with changeover contacts, for limit and alarm signalling, for instance.

The fourth model, the SINEAX VQ604s, is a programmable multi-functional transmitter with very quick setting times – of up to ten milliseconds, in fact. Its features are similar to those of the VC604s, but with only one freely programmable relay.
