Durham Instruments is proud to carry a wide range of products from HBM, a leading manufacturer of test and measurement equipment. Its lineup of products includes the BN100A bridge calibration unit. This highly precise calibrator is designed to reliably and easily calibrate measuring equipment.

The details

The BN100A bridge calibration unit is inserted in the measuring system that requires calibration in place of the transducer. Alternatively, it can be connected directly to the measuring instrument. Once inserted or connected, the device, with the aid of switchable inductive dividers, simulates the output signals of the transducer in a range of ±100mV/V. The simulation of the transducer signals is precise thanks to a control circuit, which also reduces the low error of the inductive divider stages. The full accuracy of the BN100A only comes into effect when it is connected in the six-wire circuit.

A comprehensive portfolio

Durham Instruments carries multiple calibration systems from HBM, in addition to the BN100A unit. The company also offers:

  • The K148 calibration unit, which simulates strain-gauge full bridges for amplifiers with one to eight channels;
  • The K3607 calibration unit, which can be used to calibrate measuring amplifiers or measurement chains without imposing a mechanical quantity on the strain gauge transducers belonging to the measurement chain; and
  • The K800 calibration unit for strain gauge quarter bridges, which can calibrate eight channels at one time.

Durham Instruments can also offer a wide selection of HBM’s data acquisition products, displays, panel meters, sensors, transducers, transmitters, gauges, signal conditioners, load cells, software and more.
