cabinet coolers

EXAIR is offering a free AC Sensor with the purchase of every cabinet-cooler system until August 31, 2018.

Electronic control panels can easily be damaged by contamination from heat, dirt, and moisture. Any of these elements result in unnecessary downtime, halting production until panels are fixed. Cabinet coolers are the best means of preventing such incidents, and EXAIR Corporation provides the perfect solution with its line of NEMA cabinet-cooler systems – available in three unique variations.

From now until August 31, 2018, EXAIR is offering a free AC Sensor with every purchase of a cabinet-cooler system. The Model 7929 sensor is perfect for testing wall receptacles, switches, fuses, and junction boxes, or for finding breaks in power cords and wires.

Inexpensive and easy to install

Not only are NEMA cabinet coolers inexpensive and easy to install; they are also maintenance-free. To cool and purge electronic control panels, this EXAIR system incorporates a stainless steel vortex tube that produces cold air out of ordinary compressed air without any moving parts. Users can install these systems through a standard electrical knockout in only a few minutes.

Another key advantage of these cabinet coolers is that their stainless steel vortex tubes are resistant to wear, corrosion, and oxidation. This ensures not only maintenance-free service, but also a long operational life. Cooling systems that match the NEMA rating of the enclosure are available for large and small control panels in many cooling capacities.

NEMA cabinet-cooler systems come in three variations:

  • NEMA 12. Recommended for general industrial environments where no liquids or corrosives are present;
  • NEMA 4. These incorporate low-pressure relief valves for both the vortex tubes and cabinet air exhaust. Each valve closes and seals while the cooler is out of operation, so that the NEMA 4 enclosure maintains its integrity; and
  • NEMA 4X. Similar to NEMA 4, but recommended more for the food-service industry and corrosive work environments, with their stainless steel construction.

All of these cabinet coolers meet the strict safety standards of both UL and Conformité Européenne. They also come in a range of Btu/hr, air inlet sizes, vortex capacities, and materials.
