Beginnings in St. Louis

That was the year that MOCAP started producing dip-moulded vinyl caps, plugs, grips and other items at its first plant in St. Louis. The new business soon earned a reputation as a top sales- and service-oriented company, resulting in further expansion. By the mid-1990s, MOCAP had opened two additional facilities in Missouri, as well as an innovative dip-moulding plant in England.

With this newfound success came a large industry demand for high-quality, inexpensive masking products. So the company developed a complete portfolio of rubber-injection moulding caps and plugs, while increasing its vinyl-dip-moulding capabilities. MOCAP then expanded into packaging by the end of the ’90s by launching a new sales division, ClearTec Packaging – which is still going strong today.

These plants, capabilities, and product lineups continued to expand, to serve many more valued customers around the globe. More than 40 years later, MOCAP has locations throughout Latin America, Europe and Asia; these branches manufacture and sell products that use only the latest advances in injection, compression, transfer, extrusion, and dip-moulding technologies. The company also has a fully owned and operated plant in Zhongshan, Guangdong, China – a state-of-the-art facility with an in-house tooling and mould-making shop. Through this plant, MOCAP offers low tooling costs and competitive piece prices.
