Compounds and Polygena are two sister companies with which Rosta works.

Rosta suspension elements have been trusted by industry for nearly three-quarters of a century – including 30 years in Canada, through the corporation’s local branch, Rosta Inc. In fact, Rosta is part of a larger group of technology organizations in its home country of Switzerland. Blending engineering and rubber technology

Rosta has been affiliated with Compounds since 2007, after years of the latter company acting as a major supplier of rubber elements for the former. Today, Compounds supplies all of the rubber inserts for Rosta suspension elements, and Compounds’ manufacturing operation works closely with a test laboratory that provides everything the company needs. Developers and laboratory staff with both companies team up to ensure that rubber-suspension quality is always high. This is a blend of engineering expertise and innovative rubber technology guaranteed to satisfy all customers.

Compounds’ rubber production includes two essential steps: the “Technikum”, a mini-production line that allows for the testing of mixtures and prototypes to determine their suitability for production; and vulcanization of rubber cords, a discontinuous method that is more intensive, homogeneous, and durable than standard vulcanization. These steps ensure consistent high quality in Rosta suspension elements.

Polygena is a partner and funding body for a number of small and medium-sized companies that provide industrial products and services. Its purpose is to ensure that these companies continue to be autonomous and productive, so that they can serve future generations of clients.
