Major supplier of rubber elements

This group includes several equally sized corporations that base all their activities primarily in Switzerland. Two of these companies are important sister companies to Rosta: Compounds AG and Polygena AG.

The partnership between Rosta and Compounds began in 2007, following years of Compounds serving as a major supplier of rubber elements for Rosta’s rubber suspension technology solutions. Today, Compounds still supplies all of the rubber inserts for Rosta elements, while the Compounds manufacturing operation works closely with a test laboratory that provides everything that Rosta needs. The developers and laboratory teams of both organizations collaborate constantly to make sure that product quality always meets high standards. By combining engineering expertise with innovative runner technology, this partnership always keeps customers satisfied.

There are two essential steps in the Compounds rubber-production process. First, the “Technikum” is a mini-production line that enables workers to test mixtures and prototypes to determine if they are ready for production. Next comes the vulcanization of rubber cords, a discontinuous method that is more intensive, homogeneous, and durable than standard vulcanization is. Both steps result in constant high quality in Rosta rubber suspension technology solutions.
