Durham Instruments can supply the BN100A bridge calibration unit from HBM. This highly precise calibrator has the capability to calibrate measuring equipment and measurement chains. Its ease of use and accuracy make it a top choice when calibration is required.

How it works

When calibrating digital precision instruments, the unit can be inserted in the measuring system in place of the transducer (full bridge), or it can be connected to the measuring instrument. In both cases, the unit simulates the output signals of the transducer in a range of ±100mV/V, with the aid of switchable inductive dividers. The simulation of the transducer signals is precise thanks to a control circuit, which also reduces the low error of the inductive divider stages. The full accuracy of the BN100A only comes into effect when it is connected in the six-wire circuit.
