Bohne Spring has the capacity to take on just about any size of job — from one to 10,000,000 pieces — thanks to the leading-edge equipment it uses at its Toronto-based facility. The manufacturer is able to produce high-quality compression, extension and torsion springs using high-speed CNC coiling machines, as well as four-slide stampings and wire forms. 

Compression springs, for example, are produced on the latest high-speed CNC coilers, while torsion springs, extension springs and wire forms are manufactured on the latest CNC equipment. The company’s four-slide department has vertical and horizontal four-slide machines for strip and wire formed parts that are intricately engineered clips and contacts.

Technology is also used before production even begins, during the design engineering phase with its Autocad capability — another service offered by the company. Bohne Spring also has austempering lines for hardening and tempering spring steel in the typical range of HRC 42-47.
