Blacoh’s Sentry Inlet Stabilizers offer improved flow, extended life

York Fluid Controls can supply inlet stabilizers from Blacoh. These products are part of the manufacturer’s Sentry brand of solutions for pulsation and surge control. They will improve liquid flow to the inlet side of any pump. This extends the service life of all inlet system components.

Application

Positive displacement pumps use an inlet valve that opens and closes, which creates an acceleration and deceleration of fluid into the pump. Sentry Inlet Stabilizers use a patented “J” model design that prevents fluid column separation at the pump’s inlet. The result is minimized pressure fluctuations and acceleration head losses. Due to the improved flow, components in the inlet system are protected from vibration and fatigue, and service life is extended.
