BioTEXT is ideal for businesses during the pandemic.

P&A Plastics Inc. is a major supplier of plastic sheets, rods and tubes, and custom plastic fabrication, having earned the nickname “The Plastics Place”. During the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is important to keep workplaces safe at all times. Businesses need a true, reliable surface disinfectant, one safe on all plastics – including acrylic and polycarbonate. P&A now offers the perfect solution: BioTEXT. Available in wipes or in spray format, BioTEXT keeps surfaces clean.

On Health Canada’s list of hard-surface disinfectants with evidence against COVID-19

BioTEXT is a one-step, multipurpose surface disinfectant and cleaner that meets the strict hygiene standards of hospital environments and food-preparation facilities. BioTEXT is perfectly safe for many surface types, such as touchscreens (including tablets and cell phones), acrylic barriers, polycarbonate, conveyor belts, rubber, silicone, other plastics, vinyl, naugahyde, leather, and textiles.

Environmentally friendly and biodegradable, BioTEXT surface disinfectant is safe for humans and animals and kind to skin. It is an economical solution that is non-corrosive, non-staining, and non-flammable. Other notable advantages of using BioTEXT:

  • Eco-friendliness. BioTEXT contains no toxic phenols, aldehydes, hormone-disrupting chemicals, or nonyl-phenyl ethoxylate-based surfactants.
  • Bioload resistance. P&A recommends BioTEXT for cleaning and disinfecting bio-contamination of surfaces including food contamination, blood, vomit, mucus, and fecal matter.
  • Effectiveness on textiles. BioTEXT will not harm plastics, including acrylic and polycarbonate, metal, textiles, leather, vinyl, Naugahyde, carpets, glass, ceramics, silicone, rubber, power cables, tubing, or electrical and light fixtures.
  • Versatility. This disinfectant is ideal for use on medical equipment, food-handling surfaces, acrylic barriers/guards, sinks, toilets, tables, chairs, doorknobs, walls, phones, computer screens, keyboards, uniforms, shoes, sports gear, toys, and more.

BioTEXT is simple to use. Spray BioTEXT lightly as a mist over the surface that must be disinfected. After three minutes (five minutes for canine parvovirus), wipe the surface thoroughly with a soft cloth. Do not use paper towel or rough cloths, as they may cause scratches. Using BioTEXT wipes, in one step, thoroughly wipe the entire surface to be disinfected and let it dry for three minutes, and it is done. The wipes can go right into the biodegradable bins. The spray is also available in a 500-millilitre refill pouch or five-litre Bag-in-Box spigot.
