Dobco carries various Trumpf bevellers.

Trumpf assembly tools are available through Dobco Equipment Ltd., with a selection ranging from nibblers to seam lockers. Another option is the TruTool lineup of bevellers, all of them designed and manufactured to create even, oxide-free, and metallically smooth edges on flat sheet metal, tubes, interior cut-outs, and curves.

Trumpf recommends these bevelling tools for machine, railway-car, ship, and steel construction applications, as well as in job shops for sheet-metal processing and metalworking.

Durable connections for better seams

Using these bevellers comes with many unique competitive advantages. Workers can prepare great weld seams in only one operation, with no reworking required. Perfect, metallically free K, V, X, and Y edges result from cutting edges with no emissions or oxides. Exact surface roughness and oxide-free surfaces lead to very durable weld connections, which results in better seams. Users progress quickly because of the quick working speed of these tools from Dobco, and they regrind the cutting tools multiple times and exchange them without requiring extra tools, which extends operational life.

The supplier offers three kinds of Trumpf TruTool bevellers. The TKA 500 is a three-cutter tool system with bevel angles of 30, 45, and 60 degrees. This model can accommodate radius edges, and optional cutter mounts for angles from 15 to 55 are also available. Weighing only 8½ pounds, this is Trumpf’s lightest beveller, and it has a working speed of ten feet a minute.

The TruTool TKF 700 is a 12-pound model on which the user can adjust the bevel height and sheet thickness without any extra tools. With a working speed of five feet a minute, this beveller has mounting brackets for bevel angles of 30, 37½, or 45 degrees. The TKF 1500 has a bevelling angle that is easy to adjust from 20 to 55 degrees; this is Trumpf’s heaviest beveller, weighing 36 pounds, with a working speed of 6½ feet per minute.
