The FlexFlow precision spray control system by BETE

John Brooks Company Limited offers FlexFlow precision spray control systems for automatic spray nozzles: plug-and-play controllers that serve as an elegant solution for precision coating, moistening, and lubrication. These systems ensure precision control and flexible automation for such BETE automatic spray nozzles as the Hygienic Electric HydroPulse and the Industrial Electric HydroPulse.

Businesses benefit from optimal spray performance for applying flavouring, coating, mould inhibitors, antimicrobials, preservatives, release agents and moisturizers with high accuracy with these systems.

Upgrades and extra features available

FlexFlow systems are recommended for industrial processes in which expensive compounds or ingredients must be sprayed directly onto the process target. Every FlexFlow 1000 control panel can be used as a standalone system, but John Brooks Company also carries the upgraded FlexFlow 2000 series to integrate with existing facility operations.

The FlexFlow 1000 spray system includes an HMI touchscreen with intuitive operations for streamlined control and diagnostic overview for troubleshooting. This model has two zones of precision control and operates up to 12 nozzles, or up to six nozzles in each zone; users can program both zones with independent or synchronous settings.

Comprising three models with an easy upgrade path, the FlexFlow 2000 series provides ultimate system flexibility by managing as many as 20 spray nozzles in up to 20 independently controlled spray zones. With individual spray-zone assignment for each nozzle, the user can group nozzles into as many zones as required to achieve spray-process goals. Model 2010 operates up to 10 nozzles, Model 2016 operates up to 16, and Model 2020 operates up to 20.

The FlexFlow 2000 series has the same HMI touchscreen, but also an Ethernet port for process integration. Users can match spray volume to the conveyor speed with the auto-adjust duty cycle, and the series is extremely flexible in zone operations, operating up to 20 nozzles with up to 20 triggers in up to 20 zones.

Among the features and upgrades that are available for these spray systems: programmable logic controllers and associated hardware; cable gland plates; hygienic enclosure upgrades; hygienic enclosure wall mounts; and pulse-width modulation.
