The Bestflex powered roller conveyor from Norpak

Norpak Handling is Canada’s premier supplier of material-handling equipment for warehouses and plants. One great option is the Bestflex powered roller conveyor. This is an ideal choice for moving packages and offering support for shipping, transportation, and packaging – all while remaining efficient and user-friendly. This conveyor has been built to move items at any distance at a variety of speeds, with a capacity of 100 pounds per linear foot.

Less storage space required

With its portability and flexibility, users can move the Bestflex into position easily to serve multiple docks from a fixed location, which is a boon to productivity. This makes the conveyor very suitable for warehouses of any size that need an efficient, less labour-intensive trailer loading or unloading system. It is designed to be versatile, moving all kinds of packages while increasing convenience for employees.

Among the many advantageous features of this powered roller conveyor:

  • on and off switches on both sides;
  • handles on each end;
  • less storage space required when fully retracted;
  • powered rollers that enable longer conveyor lengths;
  • heavy-duty steel square tubing powder-coated black legs;
  • durable DC drive motors with 120 volts of A/C power; and
  • heavy-duty casters, six by two inches, with breaks.

Some optional features are also available from Norpak. The user can add a PowerTrax to make extension and retraction of long conveyor lengths simpler, or closer roller centres – five inches when fully extended – to handle smaller items. An electronic photo-eye package stop halts the conveyor when packages reach the end, while zero-pressure accumulation allows items to accumulate the full conveyor length without making contact.

All of the benefits above help to improve the Bestflex’ automated features, while they still offer complete autonomy of the process to the operators of the equipment. The optional features available can help to make user experience with this conveyor more pleasant and efficient – such as a electric interface kit, which enables collaborative operation of multiple sections.

The Norpak team can help every customer determine whether the Bestflex is the appropriate choice for the application or the facility.
