• Safety cable. Bergen developed this style of cable in 1987, in collaboration with General Electric. Aerospace equipment manufacturers and machinery facilities trust safety cable as a safer and more efficient alternative to lock wire.
• Lock Clad cable. Only two companies in the world have been approved to supply this style of cable, including Bergen. Perfect for aircraft control applications, Lock Clad cable assemblies are designed to minimize wear and eliminate sagging.
• Custom cable assembly. Bergen specializes in customizing cable assembly, using its strong in-house capabilities to meet the most demanding and challenging client needs.
• Control cable. These cable systems are most useful for precise transmission of mechanical motion, with functions as varied as throttle control, brake control, power takeoff, release actuation, and engagement and disengagement of various systems.
• Lanyards. Bergen lanyards are ideal for applications that require prevention of item loss or worker injury. They are also useful for door restraint, theft prevention, and fastening applications in the aerospace industry.
• Miniature cable. A popular choice for medical devices, electronics, and aircraft interiors. Recommended for applications involving confined spaces and requiring high flexibility, durability, and corrosion resistance.
• Termination bands. Bergen is an approved QPL manufacturer of M85049/128-3 and M85049/128-4 termination bands, available in coiled and flat configurations. Used primarily to attach braids or shields to back shells.
• Precision-machined cable products. Bergen’s in-house machining capabilities – including the most up-to-date CNC technology and more traditional equipment – can produce all kinds of customized cable fittings and hardware.
