Flow-Turn accessories are available from Norpak.

Norpak Handling Ltd. is a premier Canadian supplier of conveyors for industrial plants and warehouses. These are complex systems that require various types of accessories and customization for more efficient, productive results. To accommodate items that conventional live roller curves cannot handle properly, these systems often need belted turns. So Norpak offers flat belt curves and spiral incline or decline turns for the many different conveyor systems that require them.

Global leader in conveyor accessories

Flow-Turn is a global leader in the manufacture of conveyor accessories, many designed to help systems run at far higher speeds than those of live roller curves. This company engineers and makes all products in-house with state-of-the-art machinery and processes that always stay innovative to keep pace with technology evolution.

There are five models of Flow-Turn belt curves supplied by Norpak:

  • Chain-Turn. This accessory is recommended for use in conveyor systems in general manufacturing, airports, clothing factories, distribution centres, and food-processing facilities. The Chain-Turn uses heavy-duty loose-belt technology and has belt widths of up to ten feet, with speeds of up to 600 feet per minute (FPM).
  • Flat-Turn. Capable of reaching speeds as high as 550 FPM, this belt curve works seamlessly with large and small products and comes with a variety of belt widths of up to four feet.
  • Knife Roll-Turn. This model is designed with endless-belt construction and heavy-duty loose-belt technology. A popular choice for its smooth operation, it is recommended most for small items and for food-processing applications. Belt widths go up to ten feet; speeds range as high as 250 FPM.
  • Spiral-Turn. These belt curves are capable of elevations of two feet per 90 degrees. Speeds run as high as 600 FPM, while belt widths range up to ten feet.
  • Square-Turn. The Square-Turn model can transport both large and small objects at speeds as high as 600 FPM, and it has belt widths that go up to 62 inches.

The Norpak team can help customers determine the best options for their individual circumstances, all made by such renowned global manufacturers as Flow-Turn.
