The Linemaster Atlas foot switch
Linemaster Switch Corporation offers the best selection of industrial foot switches on the market in North America. For domestic original-equipment manufacturers who want to expand their export business, or for overseas manufacturers that require the highest quality, the Linemaster team recommends the Atlas heavy-duty foot switch. Well regarded for its durability and reliable performance, the Atlas is designed to handle the most demanding industrial and commercial tasks and work environments.
With larger foot pedal
The performance and strength of this switch makes these applications much easier and more effective. The Atlas provides a snap action with forced disconnect (positive break) on Normally Closed (NC) contacts, which meets both American and European standards. Another major feature is its side entry design, developed to support multi-pedal requests. Among the other key benefits of the Atlas:
The Atlas has a larger foot pedal for more positive control, and its single PG 16 threaded conduit entry is standard for the United States. Linemaster can provide other international conduit sizes and side entry for twin and triple interconnect, by special order. For rigid mounting to equipment or to a floor, three holes are provided.
Four different models are available in the Atlas family – a no-shield version, weighing 4½ pounds and measuring 3½ by 4.29 by 8.55 inches; the full-shield version, which weighs five pounds and measures 4.7 by 5.88 by 9.06 inches; the “O” shield, weighing 5¼ pounds and measuring 5.37 by 5.88 by 9.13 inches; and the “OX” shield, which weighs 5½ pounds and measures 6.12 by 6.03 by 9.13 inches. All switches have an IP68 degree of protection.
