The EX360 Fieldprois by Red-D-Arc

Red-D-Arc Welderentals has launched two products that feature ArcReach technology. This system enables welders to adjust output voltage settings right at the point of welding, as opposed to walking to the power source and back. These trips can result in hundreds of wasted hours and needless expense. But these welding machines save a lot of time and money for businesses and lead to higher-quality welds.

A very wise investment

When welders have to walk hundreds of feet between equipment and power sources, large projects become timely and costly. Sometimes, workers do not make these trips if they judge the voltage settings to be close enough, which lowers overall welding quality. By eliminating these issues, ArcReach becomes a very wise investment.

How does it work? A digital signal automatically carries voltage data through weld cables. When the ArcReach software in the power source receives the signals from the remote accessory or wire feeder, it adjusts the output as the user indicates.

The two new welding machines that Red-D-Arc offers with ArcReach technology are the EX360 Fieldprois and the D624K HO diesel engine welder. The EX360 is highly recommended for welding pipe in the field, working in shipyards, and working across large distances and heights in the construction sector. The D624K features infinite arc control, allowing the user to adapt welding arc characteristics for specific welding applications that require stick welding, MIG, and flux-cored welding techniques.

In addition to these new welding machines, Red-D-Arc carries the arc-reach components required to complete ArcReach-enabled welding setup. These accessories include the ArcReach Suitcase 12 wire feeder, which is compatible with all ArcReach-enabled products and enables users to make all welding adjustments at the point of welding, as well as the portable ArcReach Stick-TIG remote, which automatically changes to Stick mode if electrode positive polarity is detected or TIG mode if electrode negative polarity is detected. The Stick-TIG remote eliminates the need to walk back to the power supply.

For faster, safer welding with better quality and no extra control cables cluttering up the environment, ArcReach technology is a perfect choice.
