Arc-Fil is committed to excellence in every aspect of its business, and has been since it was founded back in 1979. Its spring clip development offering is no exception. The company works closely with its customers throughout the entire process, from conceptual design to full-scale production, to ensure the product meets their exacting requirements to their complete satisfaction, every step of the way.

Capabilities

Arc-Fil can meet the spring clip needs of customers in a broad range of industries, including telecommunications, appliances, construction, automotive, aerospace and medical. Whether small- or large-volume, the company has the capacity and the machinery to serve its clients. For specialized lower and mid-volume parts, for example, the company uses its four-slide and multi-slide machinery. For more complex, high volume parts, Arc-Fil uses progressive dies.

The company also has the capability to work with a wide range of materials to meet customer requirements in even the most sensitive and demanding environments. Its selection of materials includes galvanized, low carbon steel, spring or high carbon steel (1050, 1065, 1075, 1095), stainless steel (300, 400), stainless alloys (17-7 PH, 17-4 PH), aluminum, beryllium copper, brass, elgiloy, hastelloy, inconel, monel, nispan, phosphor bronze, titanium, zinc and more. Coating and plating services are also available to ensure a higher durability and better finish. Available methods include electro-plating with chrome, black, black oxide, brass, bronze, copper and zinc, powder coating, e-coating and dip-and-spin.

A trusted partner

Arc-Fil believes in partnering with its customers for their long-term success.

“Our design process involves working with your engineering team to understand the concept, propose concrete options and develop economical approaches to achieve the most cost-effective solution,” the company explains. “We also aim at every step of the way to identify and implement innovative solutions that will help to distinguish your product in your marketplace.”
