anti-vibration mounting

Rosta carries anti-vibration mounts in several designs.

Rosta Inc. is the premier Canadian source of rubber-suspension solutions for machinery – including six models of anti-vibration mounting. These mounts are built to guard against damage and excess noise, dampening machine vibration by absorbing medium- and low-frequency vibrating, actively or passively, as they accept compression, tension, and shear loading.

Extreme vibration in industrial machinery can not only damage equipment; it can also cause noise-induced hearing loss in employees. Businesses can solve these common problems by investing in these Rosta mounts.

Installed in any position

A major benefit of Rosta anti-vibration mounting is high savings in downtime and maintenance costs. In addition, users can install them in any required position, even as ceiling or wall mounts. Their load capacities range from 20 to 20,000 kilograms. Rosta offers the following options:

  • Type AWI – Typically used in pairs, this anti-vibration mounting absorbs medium- and low-frequency vibration, while offering good linear guidance for vibrating machine parts. Maintenance-free, resistant to dirt and water, and with stainless steel housing and interiors.
  • Type ESL – Paint-finished elements with housing and cores made of light alloy with steel brackets, up to size 45. The mechanically secured principles prevent tearing off. Withstands temperatures from -40 to 80 degrees Celsius.
  • Type N – These mounts are equipped with swivel articulation to compensate for uneven ground. Recommended for air-conditioning plants, woodworking equipment, pumps, tanks, containers, transport systems, tooling machines, assembly-line equipment, and other machines requiring levelling.
  • Type NE – Also known as Isocol, this is an efficient, self-adhesive isolation plate that resists chemicals and oils. Constructed with three layers, these mounts are fixed onto floors or onto machine frames when the protective foil is removed on both sides. The adhesive quality can be increased by wetting the plate with a nitro thinner.
  • Type Nox – A food-safe, corrosion-resistant, and antibacterial alternative to Type N.
  • Type V – These multi-directional dampers have light alloy cores, steel brackets, and steel alloy housing. As Type ESL does, it withstands temperatures ranging from -40 to 80 degrees Celsius and has a mechanically secured principle.
