Titan Pumps products are available in Canada through York Fluid Controls Ltd. This includes the 4196 series of ANSI pumps. Last year, the Titan team upgraded and improved this pump series with new integrated features, like magnetic drain plugs and bearing temperature gauges. Although designed mainly for work in the chemical and processing industries, the ANSI 4196 series is a versatile family that also works for applications in the food-processing, pulp and paper, oil and gas, textiles, brewing, power-generation, water-treatment, grain-processing, and petrochemical sectors.

Better sealing, longer operational life

Available in more than 25 sizes and in ST, MT, and TXLT models, this series can be offered in many different construction materials, such as ductile iron, 316 stainless steel, or CD4 – which is a type of stainless steel with higher yield strength and corrosion resistance. Titan ANSI 4196 pumps conform to the specifications of the ANSI B73.1M standard, and there are units available with 316 stainless steel wet ends too.

Every pump in the 4196 series has a heavy-duty shaft assembly for applications with high loads and for conditions that push the power frame beyond ANSI limits. The duplex angular contact bearings ensure no end play, for better sealing and longer operational life. The Titan ANSI 4196 series of pumps meets the challenges of applications that come with very corrosive process conditions in a multitude of industries, due to their toughness and high strength. Every unit includes a bearing frame, a C-face and coupling guard mounting flange, labyrinth oil seals, and a sight glass.

The new bearing temperature gauge on every pump allows the user to check temperature with minimal effort, while helping with prevention and detection of overheating in bearing liquids. The magnetic drain plug assists with cleaning the oil cavity, by collecting foreign objects.
