Rotem Industrial Products can supply Criterion boring systems from Allied Machine & Engineering Corp. These boring systems offer a complete solution for any precision hole making requirement. System features

Criterion boring systems feature the ability to rough and finish in the same pass due to the Cri-Twin boring head. These systems also have large mounting surfaces that provide the rigidity and stability needed for use in CNC machining centres.

Criterion systems can be used without the need for special adapters or modifications to the boring head, as these systems are available with KA or ABS connections. Some of the options available for Criterion boring systems include the Cri-Bore, Cri-Twin and CB style systems.

Cri-Bore

The Cri-Bore modular system is perfect for finish boring. Micro-adjusting Cri-Bore models are available for applications with close tolerances. They have .00005 inches on diameter direct reading dials. In comparison, the standard Cri-Bore models have .001 inches on diameter direct reading dials.

Cri-Twin

The Cri-Twin is a versatile modular system that is well suited to preparing holes for finish boring operations. It has twin cutting edges that guarantee the hole is round, straight and properly located for the final boring. Three insert holder styles are available to suit applications that require a flat bottom, rapid removal of material, or removal of large amounts of material.

CB style boring head

The CB style boring head offers a large boring range. It is the best choice for applications involving a variety of bore sizes.
