All-stainless steel cylinders by Clippard suit a variety of applications

Wainbee Limited is Canada’s source for industrial equipment and parts for wash-down applications. This includes the impressive variety of stainless steel cylinders by Clippard Minimatic, a Cincinnati-based producer of miniature pneumatic components.

Constructed out of durable 303 stainless steel, these cylinders are suitable for a broad range of applications, including those in caustic environments as well as wash-down environments. They are available with bore sizes ranging from ¾-inch to two inches and with standard stroke lengths from one to 32 inches.

Multiple designs of cylinders

Clippard stainless steel cylinders include Nitrile rod wipers that prevent potential contaminants from penetrating the interior of the cylinders. Other features include 303 stainless steel heads, Rulon rod bushings, Rulon clevis bushings (on universal mounted cylinders only), and grease lubrication that is standard. These cylinders are interchangeable with other popular brands of round body cylinders. Bushings and grease lubrication are fully compliant with the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

These cylinders also can handle a maximum pressure of 250 pounds per square inch gauge and can function at any temperature between -28 and 110 degrees Celsius. Stainless steel air volume tanks are also available.
