The Linemaster AirVal Hercules Full Shield

Linemaster Switch Corporation offers a portfolio of foot switches unmatched in North America, including the AirVal series. These models are designed for long operational life and ease of use, and they are built to meet various requirements for foot-operated air valves. Users can choose from two-, three-, or four-way operation.

A versatile solution for applications that need foot controls from light to heavy duty, the AirVal family also offers two-way and three-way variable flow.

Six different versions available

Among the key features of the AirVal series of foot switches:

  • standard 1/8-27 NPT input and output ports;
  • plunger that can be depressed flush with valve body without damaging the valve;
  • line pressure of up to 150 pounds per square inch (psi);
  • valve with non-ferrous body, stainless steel plunger, and Teflon-coated buna O-rings; and
  • full and twin guards, plus accessory base units available for configurations that use multiple switches.

For optimum performance, filtered and lubricated air supply is necessary.

Six different versions of foot switches are available from the AirVal series – the Classic, the Clipper, the Twin Clipper & Wide Treadle, the Compact, the Hercules, and the Premier. The Aquiline AirVal is available on special orders in two- and three-way variations, including variable flow and single- or multi-pedal models; this unit can also come with fittings, tubing, and special paint finishes. If standard AirVal models do not meet a specific application, Linemaster can offer specialty switches.

The AirVal Classic group comprises four models, all with interior housing and operating force of 2½ pounds. Airflow is 20 or 30 cubic feet per minute (CFM) at 100 psi. The three Clipper models have an airflow of 30 CFM and exhaust of 25 CFM at 100 psi, plus operating force of ten or 19 pounds. Twin Clipper and Wide Treadle have the same airflow and exhaust as the Clipper, but with interior housing and operating force of eight or ten pounds.

One of the two robust Hercules models has maintained action as a standard feature. Both of them offer exterior housing and 19 pounds of operating force.
