The new software in this unit allows a seamless connection to Smartphones and similar devices with Bluetooth Low Energy technology. A rugged, compact, and highly accurate instrument, the Micromanometer shows information on an integrated display while transmitting it wirelessly, in real time, to a handheld Android or iOS device with AirPro Mobile Application Software. Applications for which the system is recommended include commissioning and troubleshooting for air-conditioning systems, testing and balancing, pitot tube duct traverses, and measurement of static or differential pressure.

This product offers many unique features and benefits, like the following: calculation of velocity when used with a pitot tube; auto-zeroing of the pressure sensor with the Micromanometer starts up; barbed pressure ports to help attach tubing securely; high-contrast display for easier viewing in dark areas; measurement of pressures in water from -3,735 to 3,735 pascals; rechargeable Li-ion battery to ensure long lifespan and low cost of ownership; and calibration certificate included.

The AirPro Micromanometer instrument is available from Chevrier in three performance levels – basic, advanced, and professional. With the basic version, users can set target values and view multiple measurements simultaneously, displayed in either metric or imperial units, in various languages. The advanced version connects to one or two instruments for simultaneous display and data logging; it can also calculate flow rates based on user-input duct size or K-factor, as well as wet-bulb and dew-point temperatures, and the user can log measurements on a Smartphone.

The professional model connects to as many as six devices, has a built-in duct traverse workflow that supports Equal Area and log-Tchebycheff test methods, and supports an optional SD card for unattended data-logging applications.
