The Sauermann Group makes its family of test and measurement devices available to Canadian businesses through Chevrier Instruments Inc. Among these great products is the KIMO DBM 620 air flow meter. Recommended for efficient taking of air-volume readings from air vents, this is a multipurpose, electronic air-balancing device that uses long-range, low-energy Bluetooth 4.2 technology. Supplied with a calibration certificate, the DBM 620 measures airflow, relative humidity, atmospheric pressure, temperature, differential pressure, and air velocity. It offers the Air Changes per Hour metric, the first of its kind to be integrated into a balometer, allowing the user to switch easily between five different hood configurations.
This air flow meter is lighter and smaller than previous Sauermann gadgets of its kind, and it also works as an autonomous micro-manometer with a Pitot tube attachment. With the SmartKap app, users get easy reading and export of measurement information, and the extendable tripod eliminates the requirement for ladders in most workplaces.

Regarding air velocity, each calculated parameter has an accuracy of plus or minus three per cent of the measurement plus or minus 0.04 metres per second (m/s), a measuring range from 0.2 to ten m/s, and a resolution of 0.01 m/s up to three m/s and 0.1 m/s above. As for temperature (NTC), accuracy is plus or minus 0.02 degrees Celsius, measuring range runs from 0.2 to 70 Celsius, and resolution is 0.1 degrees.
