Durham Instruments offers the ideal solution for applications that require the precise acquisition of voltages up to 1,000 volts: HBM’s QuantumX MX403B four-channel voltage measurement module. The module’s many features make it a top choice for use in the laboratory, in test benches or in the field.

Features and advantages

The QuantumX MX403B has four isolated differential measurement channels for direct measurement of voltages up to 1,000 VDC or 1,000 Vrms AC. The measuring ranges of 10, 100 and 1,000 volts can be freely parameterized, and enable both acquisition of high voltages against reference ground and measurement of small differential voltages at a high potential against reference ground.

Each of the unit’s four channels offers analog anti-aliasing filters, 24-bit AD converter and digital filters. In addition, seamless integration into the established QuantumX Series allows for the synchronous acquisition of mechanical, electrical and thermal quantities, as well as CANbus signals.

Another bonus: MX403B is compliant with the latest versions of the IEC 61010 measuring instrument standard, as well as certification and production monitoring by the German VDE Association for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies.

Optional accessories

Since the MX403B high-voltage measurement module is specified according to EN 61010 for 600 V CAT III or 1000 V CAT II, only accessories approved for at least this category can be used and connected to the measuring connections. Durham Instruments carries a wide selection of cables, adaptors, power supplies and software packages to complement the module.

Additional details

Thanks to its many features and optional accessories, this measurement module can meet the needs of a wide range of applications, including testing mechatronic components with electrically driven actuators, and testing energy storage devices.
