ODE Valve Canada is trusted by businesses across the country for our inimitably diverse line of valves, pumps, and gear motors. But customers also get useful accessories from us. One example is our FIL100 series of compact filters, including those with the “Y” design. These are Y-shaped filters that can be used in applications in a variety of sectors; examples include air, automation, chemicals, food processing, oil and gas, petrochemicals, plastics, and rubber manufacturing.

We manufacture and supply three different models of these “Y” filters: BSP, BSPT, and NPT threaded connections. These are unique and highly versatile units, each of which includes an easy-to-maintain filter element and has been built to handle not only fluids, but also gases and vapours, both neutral and aggressive. These Y-shaped filters also come in a range of nominal sizes, from DN8 to DN80.

Among the common features of ODE “Y” filters: fluid temperature from minus ten to 220 degrees Celsius; ambient temperature from minus ten to 80 degrees Celsius; nominal pressure of PN55; AISA 316 stainless steel body material; AISI 304 stainless steel filter-element material; standard perforated mesh, sized from 20 to 100 microns (with other dimensions available on request); and PTFE gasket.

Every model of our “Y” filters comes in nine distinct sizes – from ¼ of an inch to three inches NPT. They range from 14 by 37 by 55 millimetres (mm) to 80 by 118 by 210 mm in terms of metric dimensions. The BSP and BSPT designs both have pipes sized from G ¼ to G 3, with port connections of ¼ of an inch over three inches, and the NPT models have pipes and port connections both going from ¼ to three MPT. The weights range from 270 grams to 6.8 kilograms.
