A wide range of FEP wires are available from Daburn Electronics & Cable. Due to the dielectric properties of Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene (FEP), these wires offer high voltage protection. As a result, these wires have smaller diameters when compared to other high voltage wires. In addition, FEP has high resistance to stress cracking and will retain both its toughness and flexibility at temperatures up to 200 degrees C (392 degrees F). Another feature of our FEO wires is excellent resistance to chemicals, including transformer oils. Our wire and cable division stocks over 20,000 standard items, and we can run special constructions with low minimum orders.

FEP wires

There are many advantages offered by FEP wires. They have a low friction coefficient; low flammability; excellent resistance to ozone, sunlight, and weather; and negligible moisture absorption.

The FEP wires we supply are used for many applications. For example, UL1330 and UL 1332 wire is well suited for internal wiring applications in ovens and other appliances, computers, motor leads, automotive headlamps, and mercury switches. These wires can handle immersion in gasoline, gasoline vapor, and oil up to 80 degrees C (176 degrees F).
