Lewis Machine SHV: These models are designed for small wire diameters. They have precise length control that allows for adjustments up to 1” while the machine is operating. Other features include a light weight release system, high production speeds, and a knock out wiper to help with wire dropout. The SHV series has a wire diameter range between .030” and .135” (0.76mm to 3.40mm), a variable feed speed of 0 to 400 fpm, wire line height of 40.5” and take up only 60” x 32” of floor space.

Lewis Machine SV16: These models can handle a thicker wire while still providing rapid and precise straightening and cutting. They feature independent controls for adjusting feed roll pressure and speed. The wire diameter range capacity is between .050” and .315” (1.3mm to 8.0mm), variable feed speed is 0 to 400 fpm, wire line height is 43.5”, and when equipped with a 3’ extension they require 120” X 51” of floor space.

Both of these machine styles utilize Startgard, Slipgard and Tanglegard systems, which will detect if anything is wrong with the process and immediately shutdown the machine.
