Welding Power Supplies

Lincoln Electric can supply a range of power supplies for welding applications. Our selection includes engine drives for various welding operations as well as inverter power sources for robotic welding systems. We can offer many different power supply models designed for versatility, operation in harsh environments, and top quality welding results. Our company is the ideal source for this equipment as we are a global leader in welding solutions. We have experience providing welding equipment for a variety of different industries and applications, from mining and agriculture to pipelines, pressure vessels, and power generation.

Power supply selection

Some of the different types of power supplies available include:

  • Ranger engine drives are available in gas, diesel, or LPG types. They can be used for stick and wire welding with high AC power capacity.
  • Fleet engine drives were designed for jobs in remote locations. They feature simple and rugged design for stick welding, TIG, and arc gouging applications.
  • Cross country engine drives are made for pipeline applications. To ensure every weld passes inspection, they provide optimized puddle performance on root, fill, and cap passes.
  • Power Wave power sources can provide complex waveform control for high quality and consistent welding results in robotic applications.

Welding power supply features

The Power Wave R500 features fast arc response, built-in feeder control, and unique PowerConnect Technology. This technology can provide automatic adjustments to ensure a constant welding output through its entire voltage input range. This power source also includes more than 65 standard welding waveforms, so performance can be optimized for almost any application.  Other features include a compact and rugged case that’s built to a IP23 rating so it will withstand harsh environments.

Our engine drives for welding offer a number of unique advantages. One example is the Dual Vantage engine drive. It can be used to power two welding arcs simultaneously. By allowing two operators to work using the same engine drive, the Dual Vantage can help get the job done on time, whether it’s welding along a pipeline, on the construction site, or any other harsh environment.
