Welding Machines

Lincoln Electric manufactures welding equipment and consumables, including a wide variety of welding machines. We are proud of our hundred-plus years in the industry, and are also dedicated to innovation and environmentally friendly initiatives: our Cleveland plant is partially powered by a wind tower and recycles 70% of waste. Some of our other facilities use geothermal and solar heating, and we are reducing the amount of compressed air that we use. We also run various welding classes, seminars and workshops to train the next generation of skilled tradespeople. We are determined to leave the world––and your businesses––better for having worked with us.

Welding Machines Product Line

Our engine-driven welders are available in gas, diesel and LPG models. They enable stick, TIG and wire welding in even the harshest environments, and also come in portable models. Our TIG welders provide AC and DC TIG welding on aluminum and other metals, and suit applications such as shipbuilding, piping and manufacturing. With our stick welders, you can repair, maintain and make products using mild steel, stainless steel and cast iron in a range of thicknesses. We also manufacture MIG, submerged arc, multi-process and advanced process welders.

Our submerged arc wire feeders help to improve weld quality, reduce operational costs and increase productivity, and our semiautomatic wire feeders are specially designed for MIG and cored wire welding.

We manufacture a wide variety of cutting systems, including handheld and mechanized plasma cutters, CNC plasma cutting tables, and pipe and tube cutting machines.

Welding Machines Industrial Applications

NASCAR and other companies in the automotive industry use our advance process welders and steel and aluminum wires. Shipbuilders like Mission Marine Ltd. use our semiautomatic welding systems, welding process modes and aluminum wire. We work with companies in many other industries, including nuclear energy, pipeline and wind power.

Welding Machines Engineering Expertise

The Lincoln Electric Welding School is a certified technical college that has trained over 100,000 welders since 1917. We also offer seminars and workshops focusing on topics such as the principles of connection design, causes and cures of distortion and welding metallurgy. These seminars allow welders to fine-tune their skills and keep up-to-date on the latest advances in the industry. The James F. Lincoln Foundation educates the public about the art and science of arc welding, promotes welding as a career, publishes educational texts and recognizes industry achievements with cash awards.
